The data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find their contact details in the section "Information on the controller" in this privacy policy.

How do we collect your data?

Your data is collected, on the one hand, by you providing it to us. This may, for example, be data you enter in a contact form.

Other data is collected automatically or with your consent by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of the page view). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter this website.

What do we use your data for?

Part of the data is collected to ensure that the website is provided without errors. Other data can be used to analyse your user behaviour. Where contracts can be concluded or initiated via the website, the transmitted data is also processed for contract offers, orders or other order enquiries.

What rights do you have regarding your data?

You have the right at any time to receive information, free of charge, about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have a right to demand the correction or deletion of this data. If you have given consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right, under certain circumstances, to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time regarding this and any further questions on the subject of data protection.

Where a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TDDDG, insofar as the consent covers the storage of cookies or access to information on the user's device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TDDDG. The consent can be revoked at any time.

Our host(s) will process your data only to the extent necessary to fulfil their performance obligations and will follow our instructions with regard to this data.

Storage period

Unless a more specific storage period is stated within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for the data processing no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for deletion or revoke a consent to data processing, your data will be deleted, unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, deletion takes place once these reasons no longer apply.

General information on the legal bases for data processing on this website

If you have consented to the data processing, we process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR or Art. 9 para. 2 lit. a GDPR, where special categories of data under Art. 9 para. 1 GDPR are processed. In the case of an express consent to the transfer of personal data to third countries, the data processing is also carried out on the basis of Art. 49 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. If you have consented to the storage of cookies or to access to information on your device (e.g. via device fingerprinting), the data processing is additionally carried out on the basis of § 25 para. 1 TDDDG. The consent can be revoked at any time. If your data is required for the fulfilment of a contract or for the performance of pre-contractual measures, we process your data on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Furthermore, we process your data, insofar as it is required to fulfil a legal obligation, on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. The data processing may also be carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Information on the legal bases relevant in each specific case is provided in the following paragraphs of this privacy policy.

Recipients of personal data

In the course of our business activities, we work with various external bodies. In some cases, this also requires the transmission of personal data to these external bodies. We pass on personal data to external bodies only where this is required within the framework of the fulfilment of a contract, where we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. passing on data to tax authorities), where we have a legitimate interest under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR in passing on the data, or where another legal basis permits the passing on of data. When using processors, we pass on personal data of our customers only on the basis of a valid order-processing agreement. In the case of joint processing, a joint-processing agreement is concluded.

Revocation of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke a consent already given at any time. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out up to the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to object to the collection of data in special cases and to direct advertising (Art. 21 GDPR)

IF THE DATA PROCESSING IS CARRIED OUT ON THE BASIS OF ART. 6 PARA. 1 LIT. E OR F GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT AT ANY TIME, ON GROUNDS RELATING TO YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION, TO OBJECT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. THE RESPECTIVE LEGAL BASIS ON WHICH PROCESSING IS BASED CAN BE FOUND IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU OBJECT, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA CONCERNED, UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE OR DEFENCE OF LEGAL CLAIMS (OBJECTION UNDER ART. 21 PARA. 1 GDPR).

IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT ADVERTISING, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH ADVERTISING; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING INSOFAR AS IT IS CONNECTED WITH SUCH DIRECT ADVERTISING. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL SUBSEQUENTLY NO LONGER BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT ADVERTISING (OBJECTION UNDER ART. 21 PARA. 2 GDPR).

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority

In the event of breaches of the GDPR, data subjects have a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of their habitual residence, their place of work or the place of the alleged breach. This right to lodge a complaint exists without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedies.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.

Information, correction and deletion

Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing and, where applicable, a right to correction or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time regarding this and any further questions on the subject of personal data.

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time regarding this. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:

  • If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to check this. For the duration of the check, you have the right to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
  • If the processing of your personal data happened/is happening unlawfully, you can demand the restriction of the data processing instead of deletion.
  • If we no longer need your personal data but you need it to exercise, defend or establish legal claims, you have the right to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
  • If you have lodged an objection under Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR, a balancing of your interests and ours must be carried out. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data may — apart from its storage — only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of an important public interest of the European Union or a member state.

SSL / TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL / TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser's address line changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the padlock symbol in your browser line.

When SSL / TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

4. Data collection on this website

Contact form

If you send us inquiries via a contact form, the information you provide in the inquiry form, including the contact details you supply there (e.g. name, email address, phone number, property address and your request), will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your inquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of the inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) where this has been requested; consent may be withdrawn at any time.

The data you enter in the contact form remains with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent to its storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your inquiry has been dealt with). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Inquiry by email, telephone or callback

If you contact us by email, telephone or via our callback form, or request a callback, your inquiry including all personal data resulting from it (e.g. name, phone number, request) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request.

The data you send us remains with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent to its storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

Free valuation and online report

If you request a free valuation or a personal property report via our forms, we process the property and contact data you provide (e.g. property address, name, email address, phone number) in order to prepare and send you the requested assessment and to respond to your inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measure) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling your inquiry). The data remains with us until the purpose of processing no longer applies or you request deletion; statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Consent when submitting forms

Before submitting our forms, you confirm via a checkbox that is not pre-selected that you have taken note of this privacy policy and consent to the processing of your data to handle your inquiry. For evidentiary purposes, we store the time of your consent together with your inquiry. You can withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future; the lawfulness of the processing carried out until the withdrawal remains unaffected.

Property value updater (half-yearly value updates by email)

In the property value calculator you can sign up for our value updater with your email address. The subscription covers two explicitly named purposes: (1) you receive an updated value estimate of your property together with information on the Dresden property market by email roughly every six months; (2) we may contact you personally by email about your property — for example when a favourable time to sell arises or there is concrete demand in your area. Contact via other channels (e.g. telephone) is not covered by this consent.

Data processed: your email address, the property details you entered in the calculator (property type, postcode/location, area, year of construction, condition, type of use, features), your chosen language and — as proof of your consent pursuant to Art. 7(1) GDPR — the time of sign-up, the version of the consent text, your IP address and browser identifier at sign-up, and the time of your confirmation.

Double opt-in: After signing up you receive a confirmation email. Your subscription only becomes active once you click the link it contains; without confirmation you will not receive any further emails. We delete unconfirmed sign-ups after roughly 30 days.

Legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 7(2) no. 2 of the German Act against Unfair Competition, UWG). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future — via the unsubscribe link in every email or informally by email to info@immobilienpartner-sachsen.de. The lawfulness of the processing carried out until the withdrawal remains unaffected.

Email service provider: We use Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) as a processor to send the emails. A data processing agreement is in place with Resend; the transfer of data to the USA is safeguarded by EU standard contractual clauses.

Storage period: Your data remains with us for as long as the subscription is active. After you unsubscribe, we retain a minimal record (email address, times of consent and withdrawal) for up to three years in order to honour the withdrawal and to be able to prove the earlier consent (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); the data is deleted thereafter.

Property search request (buyer register)

Via the "search request" page you can tell us which property you are looking for. The sole purpose is to notify you when a property matches your details. A search request is not advertising consent: we contact you about matching properties because you specifically asked us to.

Data processed: your email address, the selected search areas, the property type, an optional budget range, the chosen language and — as evidence under Art. 7 (1) GDPR — the time of registration, your IP address and browser identifier, and where applicable the time of your confirmation.

Activation and confirmation: the search request is active immediately after submission. You receive a confirmation email straight away containing a confirmation link and a deletion link. Clicking the confirmation link is voluntary and serves as evidence that the email address belongs to you.

Legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in matching suitable properties (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Retention: a search request is valid for twelve months. After that we ask once whether the search is still current; without a reply the search request is deleted (Art. 5 (1) (e) GDPR). You can end it earlier at any time via the deletion link in your confirmation email or informally by replying to that email.

Market updates (newsletter)

When submitting a search request you can additionally and separately tick that you would like market updates on the Dresden property market. The box is not pre-ticked; without actively ticking it you will not receive any market updates.

Data processed: your email address, the chosen language and — as evidence of your consent under Art. 7 (1) GDPR — the time of registration, the version of the consent text, your IP address and browser identifier, and where applicable the time of your confirmation.

Legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, Section 7 (2) no. 3 of the German Act Against Unfair Competition). You may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future — via the unsubscribe link in every email, via your email client's native unsubscribe button, or informally by replying to our email. The lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal remains unaffected.

Sending service provider: we use Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) as a processor for sending emails. A data processing agreement is in place with Resend; the transfer of data to the USA is safeguarded by EU standard contractual clauses.

Retention: your data remains with us for as long as the subscription is active. After unsubscribing we retain a minimal record (email address, times of consent and withdrawal) for up to three years in order to implement the withdrawal and to be able to demonstrate the earlier consent (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR); the data is then deleted.

5. Cookies and local storage

Cookies and consent

Our internet pages sometimes use what are known as cookies as well as comparable technologies (e.g. your browser's local storage). Cookies are small data packets and do no harm to your device. They are stored on your device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session storage) or permanently (e.g. local storage).

Technically necessary storage required for the operation of the website or for functions you have expressly requested is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR or § 25 para. 2 TDDDG; consent is not required for this. All other storage — for example for embedding Google Maps — is carried out exclusively with your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TDDDG. You manage your consent via our cookie notice; it can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.

Local storage in the browser (local storage / session storage)

Our website uses your browser's local storage to provide certain settings and functions. Information is stored locally on your device and is not automatically transmitted to us or to third parties. You can view and delete this data at any time via your browser settings.

We use the following technically necessary entries:

  • Cookie consent (cookie-consent, local storage): stores your choice in the cookie notice (the version of the notice as well as the categories you have allowed or rejected) so that the notice does not appear again on every visit and your decision is respected permanently. The entry remains stored until you change your choice via the cookie settings, withdraw your consent, or clear your browser's local storage.
  • Value-estimate notice window (exit-intent-seen, local storage): stores a timestamp once our one-off notice window for the free value estimate has been shown to you, so that it is not displayed to you repeatedly (at most once within seven days). Only a timestamp is stored and no personal data.

The storage of these entries is carried out on the basis of § 25 para. 2 TDDDG, as it is strictly necessary for the functions you use, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in a technically error-free and user-friendly presentation of our website (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Consent is not required for this.

6. Plugins and tools

Google Maps

This website uses the map service Google Maps. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

We only embed Google Maps after you have consented to the use of functional cookies. As long as the map is not activated, no data is transmitted to Google. Only after your consent is the map loaded; in doing so, your IP address and possibly further data is transmitted to Google and may be transferred to servers in the USA. To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address.

Google Maps is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offerings and easy locating of the places we indicate. The storage of this data and the access to information on your device are carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TDDDG). The consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future; you can load the map via the "Activate map" button or adjust and revoke your cookie settings at any time.

The data transfer to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF). Further information on the handling of your data can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

Google Analytics 4

This website uses the web analytics service Google Analytics 4. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics allows us to analyse the behaviour of website visitors — for example which pages are viewed, how our property valuation calculator is used and through which channels visitors find us. This evaluation is aggregated and serves solely to improve our offering. Google Analytics uses technologies (e.g. cookies) that enable your browser to be recognised. IP anonymisation is enabled, so your IP address is processed in truncated form; we do not use Google signals (cross-device tracking).

We only load Google Analytics after you have consented to the "Statistics" category. As long as no consent has been given, no analytics script is loaded and no data is transmitted to Google. Processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TDDDG. Your consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future — via our cookie notice or your cookie settings.

The recipient of the data is Google. Data may be transferred to Google servers in the USA; this transfer is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF) and the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses. The usage data collected via Google Analytics is automatically deleted once the retention period configured in Google Analytics has elapsed. Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
